McGee, Hearne & Paiz, LLP (MHP) would like to take this opportunity to welcome new associates to our group. Elizabeth Pino, Cynthia Montgomery, Constance Carlyon, Amber Huseth and Justin Jeffers all recently joined the MHP team.
Elizabeth Pino joined MHP in December 2016 as our seasonal receptionist, ready to help us through another tax season. She is currently on "off time" from Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho. How fortunate we are that her schedule perfectly matched exactly what we need?!?!?! Her break allows her to be free from January to April 15th – starting back at University on April 17th. When not working Elizabeth spends a great deal of time watching movies or just having one on in the background and if you spend enough time talking to her you will notice her love of quoting from movies.
Cynthia Montgomery became a part of MHP's Accounting Services Department in January 2017. Cynthia has a background in bookkeeping and has worked for various companies in her native Colorado. She now calls Cheyenne home after wanting to get away from the hustle of the big city. "I chose MHP because I felt that this firm afforded me the opportunity to increase my knowledge and opportunity in a field that I have worked in for the last 10 years. I really like the fact that we are so client focused, and had the allure of a small company with bigger benefits. So far I love this job (though it is quite intense), and I look forward to my future with MHP!" When not at work, Cynthia likes to spend time with her 2 dogs and cat. She is an avid reader and writer of both fiction and poetry. A couple of her poems have even been published in collected works and she is currently working on a manuscript in the YA Fantasy genre.
One of three new hires that also started in January, Constance (Connie) Carlyon has an extensive background as a Controller and Senior Accountant that will benefit our Accounting Services Department. Connie is a "Yooper" from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (close to Lake Superior) by way of Southern California, Las Vegas and now Cheyenne. Joe Paiz passed her resume on to Accounting Services and now she is happy to be working at MHP as part of the team!
Amber Huseth is here as a Tax Intern. She is a University of Wyoming student studying for her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is anticipating to receive her undergraduate degree in May 2017 and she will be eligible to sit for the Certified Public Accounting Exam in the spring of 2018. Amber is a student member of the Wyoming Society of CPA Board of Trustees for 2016-2017. She has been President of Beta Alpha Psi, Vice President of the Institute of Management Accountants, and a Volunteer Tax Preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.
Justin Jeffers recently graduated the University of Wyoming with his Bachelors of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Finance. Justin will be contributing his skill, knowledge and experience as a Tax Associate just in time for tax season. When not working, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife, working on his 1965 Ford F250, powerlifting and playing with his dogs.

MHP is excited to welcome all of the new employees to the Firm.
