Our Wyoming Firm roots start back in the 1930s as Haselmire & Cordle. In the 1940s the name changed to Cordle & Associates and in the 1950s became Raab, Roush & Gayman.  In 1972, the Firm became a McGladrey office under the name of McGladrey, Hansen, Dunn & Company. The Cheyenne McGladrey office had several name changes before it was purchased by nine partners in September 2000 and is now known as McGee, Hearne & Paiz, LLP.

The largest CPA firm in Wyoming, McGee, Hearne & Paiz, LLP is a diversified practice conducting business in Wyoming, northern Colorado and western Nebraska with all resources provided from our sole office in Cheyenne. We provide a wide range of professional services.

Our clients range from individuals to closely-held businesses, auto dealers, construction and real estate companies, manufacturing and distribution organizations, government and not-for-profit entities. In addition to traditional accounting, audit and tax services, we provide services in specialized areas such as, acquisitions and divestitures, business valuations, cost segregation, fraud and forensic accounting, employee benefit plan audits, litigation support, peer review and management consulting.  In addition, we offer professional trust, estate and high wealth services.

We continue our relationship with our predecessor firm, now RSM USA LLP, through membership in the RSM US Alliance. In the universe of CPA firms, a national firm’s strengths differ from those of a local firm. McGee, Hearne & Paiz, LLP provides you the best of both worlds – the depth and breadth of resources typically available only through a national firm through our affiliation with the RSM US Alliance and the service-oriented perspective you expect from a local firm.

On April 15, 2010, McGee, Hearne & Paiz, LLP was one of six northern Colorado and Wyoming businesses honored for exemplary business ethics by the Better Business Bureau serving northern Colorado and greater Wyoming.  The Torch Award for Ethics, which honors companies that demonstrate ethical management practices; uphold high standards in relationships with customers, suppliers and shareholders; show honesty and integrity in marketing and advertising; and give back to their communities.  Each year peers, colleagues and customers nominate businesses for the award.
